At the base of the sturdy wooden frame is a strip of 7 color LED lights which illuminate the piece of acrylic that has been laser engraved with the design.

The frame is powered by a 5V USB power source and comes with a switch that not only allows you to switch manually between colors but also has modes that automatically switch between the 7 colors and fade in and out of all the colors. The switch also has buttons that allow you to manually dim or brighten the lights. The USB power source allows for multiple power supply options including plugging into a lamp with USB outlet, computer, power bank or USB wall adapter.
